Thousands of matters,
not fifty
Managed IT and cybersecurity for solicitors running volume debt recovery proceedings across London, Kent, Essex and the South East. We know what bulk claim work demands of a practice, and what your instructing clients ask for when they audit you.
Volume recovery work has little in common with a high-street practice
You aren't running fifty matters, you're running thousands. Claims go out in bulk rather than one at a time. Files arrive from your instructing client as data, not as a bundle of paper. Your case management system is doing automated work at volume, not acting as a filing cabinet with a diary bolted on. And the people on the other side of your files are, by definition, in financial difficulty — which brings its own obligations over how their data is handled.
Most IT providers have never seen a practice that works this way. They quote on user count, then struggle when you explain that a failed overnight process matters more than a broken laptop.
Two things behave differently at scale
A practice running thousands of matters has operational dependencies a high-street firm simply does not.
Work arrives as data, not as paper
Case files come in from your instructing client in bulk, over a transfer route that has to be encrypted, access-controlled and auditable. Not a shared folder that accumulated over the years and nobody owns. We have built and we run SFTP servers for bulk data handovers, so we know what a sound one looks like from either side.
Processes matter more than devices
A broken laptop is an inconvenience. A bulk submission that did not go out is a different order of problem. The jobs themselves run inside your platform, so we will be straight with you: we monitor and maintain the infrastructure underneath them, and if you need alerting on the runs themselves that is a conversation with your platform vendor.
Built around volume
LawFusion on the Access platform
The application belongs to Access, not to us. What we own is everything between your fee earners and it — the connection and its failover, the endpoints, the identity and MFA, and the local print and document handling around it. When it's slow, that's usually where the fault lives. When it isn't, we take it up with Access rather than leaving you to referee between two suppliers.
Connectivity and its failover
Volume work stops entirely when the line does. We build in a fallback route and monitor both, so a broadband fault is an inconvenience rather than a day of lost filings.
Mailboxes, identity and access
Who can reach what, reviewed as a process rather than an email when someone leaves. Enforced MFA, managed devices, and a record of access changes you can produce when a client asks for it.
Debtor data and vulnerability flags
The records you hold concern people in genuine financial difficulty, and some are flagged vulnerable. Access controls, audit logging and retention handled accordingly, so who-saw-what is answerable.
Client due diligence and audit evidence
Your instructing clients audit you, and most of what they ask for comes from IT. Send us the IT sections of the questionnaire and we will complete them with the evidence we hold — that is included. The security layers behind it, such as endpoint detection, phishing simulation and dark web monitoring, are priced separately from the support agreement, and we will say so on the quote rather than in the small print.
Remote and hybrid fee earners
Working from home needs the same controls as working at the desk: managed devices, encrypted endpoints, enforced MFA, and no debtor data on a personal laptop.

What practices ask us
Do you support LawFusion?
We support firms working on the Access platform. The application is Access's to run; we look after the connection, endpoints, identity and local setup your fee earners depend on, and we deal with Access directly when the fault is at their end rather than passing you between suppliers.
Is security included in your support agreement?
No, and be careful of providers who imply it is. Endpoint detection, phishing simulation and training, dark web monitoring and penetration testing are priced separately from day-to-day support. What is included is keeping your systems patched, monitored, backed up and documented, and completing the IT sections of the questionnaires your clients and insurers send you. We would rather you knew the shape of that before a quote lands than after.
Do you work with other firms in this sector?
Yes, and we keep every client environment entirely separate. We don't discuss one client's systems, data or arrangements with another, and we won't discuss yours.
We're audited by the firms that instruct us. Will you help?
Yes. Send us the IT sections and we will complete them and supply supporting evidence. It is part of supporting a practice in this sector, not a chargeable extra every time a client asks.
Do you understand the SRA Accounts Rules?
We are an IT provider, not a compliance consultancy. What we do is make sure the systems and controls around your client account support the obligations your COFA and COLP are accountable for — and that you can evidence them.
Are you certified?
We hold Cyber Essentials and renew annually. We're a Microsoft 365 specialist and provide licensing as a Cloud Solution Provider.
Where are you based?
Croydon, supporting clients across London, Surrey, Kent, Essex and the South East.
